安全须知
Time the rains
Central Vietnam's rainy months (roughly Sep–Dec) can bring flooding to Hội An's old town. Aim for Feb–Aug.
Full-moon lantern night
On the 14th of each lunar month Hội An dims its lights for the lantern festival — book accommodation ahead.
Cross the pass by day
Hải Vân's views are wasted in fog or dark. Ride it mid-morning; the train tunnel is the wet-weather backup.
