According to the regulations on temporary residence registration for foreigners in Clause 2, Article 33 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam No. 47/2014/QH13, “The person directly managing and operating the activities of the accommodation establishment is responsible for fully filling in the temporary residence declaration form for foreigners and submitting it to the police of the commune, ward, town or police station where the accommodation establishment is located within 12 hours, for the area of the area.

Currently, foreigners can register for temporary residence online if the homeowner/landlord provides the necessary personal information or requests the homeowner/landlord to register for temporary residence online or request confirmation from the police agency of the commune/ward where they reside.
