This article helps you understand how to provide detailed information about products, goods, services, and general transaction conditions. This not only helps protect consumer rights but also creates transparency and trust in commercial transactions.
According to the provisions of Article 21 of the Law on protecting consumer rights Provide information about products, goods, services, form contracts, and general transaction conditions for consumers:
1. Provide accurate and complete information about the following contents:
a) Products, goods and services, including: measurement, quantity, volume, quality, uses, price, origin of goods, shelf life, fees, costs, methods, time Delivery deadline, shipping method, payment;
b) Business organizations and individuals;
c) Comments and assessments of consumers on products, goods, services, business organizations and individuals (if any);
2. Carry out labeling of goods to ensure honesty, clarity, accuracy, and reflect the true nature of the goods according to the provisions of law;
3. List prices according to the law on prices;
4. Provide information about the ability to supply replacement parts and accessories for products and goods;
5. Provide instructions for use; Warranty policy as prescribed in Article 30 of this Law in case products, goods or services have warranty;
6. Transparent information about ingredients, functions, and different benefits for products and goods produced and services provided specifically for each gender;
7. Accurately and fully inform consumers about sample contracts and general transaction conditions before making transactions.
1. In case a business organization or individual provides information about products, goods or services to consumers through a third party, the third party has the following responsibilities:
a) Ensure the provision of accurate and complete information about products, goods and services provided by business organizations and individuals and related evaluation and ranking programs (if any);
b) Request business organizations and individuals to provide information, documents and means to prove the accuracy and completeness of information about products, goods and services;
c) Take joint responsibility for providing inaccurate or incomplete information about products, goods or services, unless it is proven that all measures prescribed by law to control Check the accuracy and completeness of information about products, goods and services;
d) Implement other relevant legal provisions.
2. In case a business organization or individual provides information about products, goods, or services to consumers through the media, the media owner or media service provider is responsible for following responsibilities:
a) Implement the provisions in Clause 1 of this Article;
b) Build, develop and implement technical solutions to prevent facilities and services under their management from being used for the purpose of harassing consumers;
c) Refuse to allow business organizations and individuals to use facilities and services under their management to harass consumers;
d) Stop allowing business organizations and individuals to use facilities and services under their management to commit acts of harassing consumers at the request of competent state agencies.
3. In case a business organization or individual provides information about products, goods or services through an influencer, the influencer has the following responsibilities:
a) Implement the provisions in Clause 1 of this Article;
b) Notify consumers in advance that they are sponsored to provide information about products, goods and services.
