Pursuant to Clause 22, Article 3 Law on Environmental Protection 2020 stipulated as follows: “Pollution control is the process of preventing, detecting, stopping and treating pollution.

1. Does the main content of environmental audit for production, business and service establishments include pollution control?

Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 74 Law on Environmental Protection 2020 regulations Environmental audit as follows:

“1. Environmental audit is a systematic and comprehensive review and assessment of the effectiveness of environmental management and pollution control of production, business and service establishments.

2. Main contents of environmental audit for production, business and service establishments include:

a) The use of energy, chemicals, raw materials, and scrap imported from abroad as production materials;

b) Pollution control and waste management.

3. Encourage production, business and service establishments to conduct environmental audits themselves.

4. The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment shall provide technical guidance on environmental self-audit activities of production, business and service establishments".

Accordingly, environmental audit is a systematic and comprehensive review and assessment of the effectiveness of environmental management and pollution control of production, business and service establishments.

2. And the main content of environmental audit for production, business and service establishments includes:

- The use of energy, chemicals, raw materials, and scrap imported from abroad as production materials;

- Pollution control and waste management.
