1. Implementation sequence
- Step 1: Prepare documents according to legal regulations.
- - Step 2: Submit documents
* Foreigners applying for permits to restricted and border areas in Vietnam must go through an inviting agency, organization, individual, or guarantor to process the procedures with the provincial Immigration Office. The inviting agency, organization, individual, or guarantor for the foreigner must submit the documents at the provincial Immigration Office.
In cases where a foreigner applies for a permit to restricted and border areas for their personal matters, they can directly submit the documents at the provincial Immigration Office.
* Immigration officers receive and verify the legality and contents of the documents:
+ If the documents are complete and valid, an appointment letter is issued to the applicant for permit issuance; payment is requested from the fee collector. The fee collector collects the payment and issues a receipt to the applicant for the permit.
+ If the documents are incomplete or invalid, the officer receiving the documents guides the applicant to complete the documents.
* Document acceptance hours: From Monday to Saturday morning every week (excluding holidays). - - Step 3: Receive the result
+ The applicant for permits to restricted and border areas for foreigners directly receives the result at the provincial Immigration Office. When receiving the result, bring the appointment letter, ID documents, and payment receipt for verification.
+ If the permit is not granted, a written response stating the reason is provided.
+ For those requesting results via postal services, follow the instructions provided by the postal service provider.
+ Result delivery time: From Monday to Friday every week (excluding holidays).
