1. Authority to decide and approve land use planning:
+ The decision and approval of national land use planning, defense land use planning, and security land use planning are carried out in accordance with the provisions of law on planning;
+ Provincial People's Committee approves district-level land use planning.
The district-level People's Committee submits the district-level land use planning to the People's Council at the same level before submitting it to the provincial-level People's Committee for approval.
2. Authority to decide and approve land use plans:
+ The National Assembly decides on the national land use plan;
+ The Prime Minister approves defense land use plans, security land use plans, and provincial land use plans;
+ Provincial People's Committee approves district-level land use plans.
The Provincial People's Committee submits to the People's Council at the same level for approval the list of projects requiring land recovery as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 62. Land Law 2013 before approving district-level land use plans.
