According to Article 12 Law on Consumer Rights Protection 2023 Regulations on international cooperation in protecting consumer rights are as follows:

1. International cooperation in protecting consumer rights is carried out on the principle of respect for national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, equality and mutual cooperation. beneficial, consistent with the Constitution, laws of Vietnam and international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member.

2. In case the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is not a member of the relevant international treaty, international cooperation in protecting consumer rights is carried out according to the principle of reciprocity. but must not contravene the Constitution and laws of Vietnam and be consistent with international laws and practices.

3. The scope of international cooperation in protecting consumer rights includes consultation, exchange of information and documents, receipt and resolution of disputes, handling of violations of consumer rights or other activities. Other appropriate international cooperation activities according to the provisions of Vietnamese law and international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member.

Thus, according to the above regulations, the principle of international cooperation in protecting consumer rights must be implemented based on the principle of respect for national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-interference in public affairs. each other's internal, equality and mutual benefit, in accordance with Constitution, Vietnamese law and international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member.
