Based on the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam dated June 16, 2014, the regulations are as follows:
1. Principles of entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners according to Vietnamese law
1. Comply with the regulations of Vietnamese law related to international treaties of which Vietnam is a member.
2. Respect the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, ensure national security and order, social safety, and equality in international relations.
3. Ensure transparency, openness, convenience for foreigners; close coordination in the management of entry, exit, transit, and residence activities of foreigners in Vietnam.
4. Foreigners with multiple passports are only allowed to use one passport for entry, exit, transit, and residence in Vietnam.

2. Prohibited behaviors
1. Obstructing foreigners and relevant agencies, organizations, individuals from exercising rights, obligations, and responsibilities as stipulated by law regarding entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam.
2. Setting up procedures, documents, and fees contrary to legal regulations; causing disturbances and inconveniences in the process of entry, exit, transit, and residence procedures for foreigners in Vietnam.
3. Illegally entering, exiting, transiting, or residing in Vietnam; forging, using fake documents to enter, exit, transit, or reside in Vietnam.
4. Providing false information, documents to enter, exit, transit, or reside in Vietnam.
5. Utilizing the entry, exit, transit, or residence in Vietnam to oppose the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; infringe upon the legal rights and interests of agencies, organizations, individuals.
6. Buying, selling, renting, leasing, borrowing, lending, erasing, modifying the content of valuable documents for entry, exit, transit, residence for foreigners to enter, exit, transit, or reside in Vietnam.
