The following are detailed instructions on how to look up personal credit history:
1. Look up credit history at the Bank
To check credit history at Bank, customers follow these steps:
- Step 1: Customers come to a Hong Leong Bank branch or transaction office and request a credit history check. (See address)
- Step 2: Customers provide ID card/CCCD or other documents as requested by the bank.
- Step 3: Bank staff look up and notify customers of the results.
2. Check credit history at CIC website
Customers can look up their credit history on the CIC website completely free of charge by following these steps:
- Step 1: Direct access to the website: https://cic.gov.vn
- Step 2: Register an account, fill in all personal information as required (full name, address, phone number, ID card or CCCD,...)
- Step 3: Receive the OTP code sent to the registered phone number, then answer authentication questions from CIC via question and answer on the phone.
- Step 4: Once completed, information about the customer's login name and password will be sent to the registered email.
- Step 5: Log in to the CIC system and go to the personal information section to look up your credit history.
3. View credit history at CIC Credit Connect application
To view credit history on the CIC Credit Connect application, customers follow the instructions as follows:
- Step 1: Download and install the CIC application on your phone.
- Step 2: Register for a CIC account as required by the system.
- Step 3: Wait for your account to be successfully approved by CIC (takes about 1 - 3 days), then log in to the application.
- Step 4: After logging in, receive an OTP authentication code sent to the registered phone number and allow access to the location on the device.
- Step 5: Click to select Report notification, then authenticate with registered password, fingerprint or Face ID.
- Step 6: Select Buy credit report and enter the OTP verification code.
- Step 7: View credit history search results.
