3. National environmental protection is closely linked to regional and global environmental protection; environmental protection ensures that national sovereignty and security are not harmed.

4. Environmental protection must be consistent with the laws, natural characteristics, culture, history, and socio-economic development level of the country.

5. Environmental protection activities must be carried out regularly and prioritize the prevention of pollution, incidents and environmental degradation.

6. Organizations, households and individuals using environmental components and benefiting from the environment have the obligation to make financial contributions to environmental protection.

7. Organizations, households and individuals causing environmental pollution, incidents and degradation must remedy, compensate for damages and bear other responsibilities according to the provisions of law.

Therefore, any business when starting to operate must first clearly understand what regulations it must comply with in environmental protection work. Specifically:

For newly established enterprises, before starting operations, it is necessary to conduct an environmental impact assessment, develop an environmental protection plan, register a waste source owner book, and at the same time build a waste treatment system in accordance with regulations.
For businesses that have come into operation, they must comply with their commitments on environmental protection. Failure to do so will result in penalties and suspension of operations in accordance with regulations.
