Preferential policies and support for environmental protection of the State

Incentive and support policies in the field of environmental protection have been stipulated in Clause 1, Article 141 of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 with the following points:

The State shall implement preferential and supportive policies related to land and capital to promote environmental protection activities. This includes exemption or reduction of taxes and fees related to environmental protection activities, as well as price and freight support for environmentally friendly products. Other incentives and supports related to environmental protection activities shall be prescribed in accordance with applicable laws.

This encourages and motivates units to carry out environmental protection measures and provides them with a favorable environment to carry out these activities.
In case an environmental protection activity is regulated to be eligible for incentives and support under the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 and other relevant legal provisions, that activity will enjoy incentives and support according to the document stipulating a higher level of incentives and support.
The level and scope of incentives and support for environmental protection activities will be adjusted to ensure compliance with environmental protection policies in each period. This is to properly meet the requirements and environmental protection goals set in each period.
