Clause 4, Article 3 of the Law on Consumer Protection 2023 stipulates: “Defective products and goods are products and goods that do not ensure safety for consumers, are capable of causing damage to the life, health and property of consumers but the defect has not been detected at the time the product or goods are provided to consumers, although the product or goods are manufactured in accordance with current standards and technical regulations, including:
a) Mass-produced products and goods with defects arising from technical design;
b) Individual products and goods with defects arising from the production, processing, transportation, storage and use processes;
c) Products and goods that pose a potential safety risk during use but do not have adequate instructions or warnings for consumers"
According to Clause 5, 6, Article 3 of the Law on Consumer Protection 2023, "Remote transactions are transactions conducted on cyberspace, electronic means or other means in which consumers are not allowed to inspect or directly contact products, goods or services before participating in the transaction"; "Continuous service provision is the provision of services for a period of 03 months or more or for an indefinite period."
