Pursuant to Article 52 of the 2005 Intellectual Property Law, amended by Clause 15, Article 1 of the 2022 amended Intellectual Property Law, the time limit for granting a Certificate of copyright registration and a Certificate of related rights registration is specifically as follows:

Within fifteen working days from the date of receipt of a valid application, the state management agency for copyright and related rights shall be responsible for issuing a Certificate of Copyright Registration or a Certificate of Related Rights Registration to the applicant. In case of refusal to issue a Certificate of Copyright Registration or a Certificate of Related Rights Registration, the state management agency for copyright and related rights shall notify the applicant in writing and state the reasons.
Accordingly, the time limit for granting a certificate of copyright registration is within 15 working days from the date of receipt of a valid application. The competent authority is responsible for granting a certificate of copyright registration.
If the competent authority refuses to grant a Certificate of Copyright Registration, it must notify the applicant in writing and state the reasons.
