Article 44 of the Law on Consumer Protection of Rights 2023 stipulates:
1. The door-to-door sales contract must be made in writing and provide 1 copy to the consumer, unless the parties agree otherwise.
2. Case If a door-to-door sales contract is made in writing, the business organization or individual must spend at least 03 working days from the date of signing the contract for the consumer to reconsider the decision to implement the contract. During this period, consumers have the right to unilaterally terminate the performance of the concluded contract and notify business organizations and individuals.
3. In case the door-to-door sales contract is made in writing, when signing the contract, the consumer must write down the date, month and year of conclusion.
Article 43 of the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2023 stipulates the responsibilities of business organizations and individuals in door-to-door sales activities:
1. Business organizations and individuals conduct door-to-door sales activities through the following forms:
a) Do it yourself;
b) Employees of business organizations and individuals;
c) Hired or authorized representative.
2. Individuals specified in Clause 1 of this Article when selling door-to-door goods have the following responsibilities:
a) Introduce the name, phone number, address, and headquarters of the business organization or individual responsible for selling and providing products, goods, and services; Provide documents proving relationships with business organizations and individuals;
b) Do not continue to offer to sell or provide products, goods or services when the consumer has refused;
c) Explain to consumers fully, accurately and clearly the contract content and information that consumers are interested in related to products, goods and services.
3. Business organizations and individuals must be responsible for the sales activities of door-to-door sales individuals specified in Clause 1 of this Article.
