According to Article 11 of the Law on Consumer Rights Protection 2023, requesting state agencies to handle violations of the law related to consumer rights is stipulated as follows:
1. In case of detecting violations of the law on consumer rights protection and other provisions of the law on consumer rights, consumers, related organizations and individuals have the right to request directly or in writing to competent state agencies for handling in accordance with the provisions of law.
2. Competent state agencies are responsible for receiving and resolving requests from consumers, organizations and related individuals according to their assigned functions, tasks, powers and fields.
3. In case the state management agency for consumer rights protection receives a request specified in Clause 1 of this Article that falls under the management of another state agency, it shall be responsible for forwarding the request to that agency and notifying the relevant consumers, organizations and individuals.
4. Consumers, organizations and individuals involved are responsible for providing information and evidence of violations of the law by business organizations and individuals.
