Rules of conduct for civil servants and health officials when performing official duties and assigned tasks are specified in Article 3. Circular 07/2014/TT-BYT, specifically as follows:
1. Things to do:
+ Strictly implement the provisions of law on the obligations of civil servants and public employees;
+ Have ethics, personality and a healthy and pure lifestyle of a physician from the standpoint of diligence, frugality, integrity, integrity, public-mindedness and impartiality;
+ Have a sense of organizational discipline; Comply with professional processes, internal rules and working regulations of the industry and unit;
+ Regularly study to improve qualifications, expertise, skills, professional ethics, communication skills, and behavior;
+ Obey and comply with assigned tasks; proactive and responsible at work;
+ Contribute opinions in the unit's operations and administration to ensure effective performance of assigned duties and tasks;
+ Maintain prestige and honor for the unit, leaders and colleagues;
+ Wear uniforms and ID cards for civil servants and public employees according to regulations; Wear badges of fields prescribed by law (if any).
2. Things not to do:
+ Avoiding responsibility, abdicating assigned work or tasks;
+ Abusing functions, tasks, assigned powers and reputation of agencies or units to handle personal matters; self-promoting one's own role for personal gain;
+ Discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, social groups, beliefs, and religions in any form.
