Hon Thi is a large island located in Nha Phu Bay, Ninh Ich Commune, Ninh Hoa District, Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam, about 20km north of Nha Trang City. Hon Thi Island is surrounded by many other large and small islands. In front of the island are Hon Sam, Hon Cu Lao, Hon Lang; behind is Hon Ro and Hon Heo peninsula. Located on both sides of the sea of Hon Thi are Ke Ga Cape in the Southwest and Da Chong Cape in the Southeast. Hon Thi has a circumference of about 6,750m, 212m high. The land here is fertile, has a source of fresh water and used to be the place of Tan Long fishing village, however, it has now moved. From Nha Trang city center, to get to Hon Thi and Hon Sam, visitors can travel according to the following instructions:
Tourists can travel by personal vehicle or bus to the pier. If traveling by personal vehicle, from the city center, you can follow National Highway 1A to the North for about 15km to reach Long Phu tourist pier. If using the bus, you can choose bus number 06 from the city center with a stop at Da Chong port.
At Long Phu tourist wharf, visitors can buy tickets to Hon Thi Island in Nha Trang. Travel time from the mainland to the island is about 20 minutes.
