Where is Dam Mon Peninsula?

Dam Mon Peninsula is located in Van Phong Bay, Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province. To reach Dam Mon Peninsula, from Nha Trang City, visitors can travel more than 80km along National Highway 1A to the North (or 45km by sea).

With a natural area of 128km2, Dam Mon Peninsula is highly appreciated and surveyed by the World Tourism Organization. This place has all the natural factors favorable for ecotourism, including climate, coastline, mountains, forests, landscapes, ecological environment, seaports and seafood supply. All of these are almost intact and natural. The sea around Dam Mon Peninsula is still wild and relatively clear, thanks to the system of small islands in the shape of a bow, making the sea quite calm and without big waves.

The best time to travel to Dam Mon

The best time to visit Dam Mon is from March to August, when the tropical climate creates ideal conditions for memorable experiences here. You can enjoy the crystal clear beaches, pristine white sand and participate in exciting activities.

To get to Dam Mon, visitors can travel by road. The road leading to Dam Mon peninsula is about 18.5km long, starting from the foot of Co Ma pass and stretching along the peninsula. On this road, visitors will admire the beautiful scenery of long, smooth white sand dunes, giving visitors the feeling of walking through a vast desert.

After passing the sand dunes, visitors will continue on the coastal road from Dam Mon to Dai Lanh. The last stop on the road is Dam Mon fishing village - a small, quiet village located on the peninsula. All year round, this village is covered by the green landscape of coconut trees.
