Whale Island Resort (also known as Hon Ong Resort - Whale Island) was built on Hon Ong in 1997 with a total area of 900 hectares, uninhabited, there is only one resort here - a separate island of Vietnam. In front is a nature reserve, behind is a large forest and sea. The idea for us to create Whale Island Resort is from the space here: wild and fresh.

The founding team of Whale Island Resort has witnessed the process of urbanization, industrialization with skyscrapers, polluted air and trees that are almost absent in big cities. And what we wanted when creating Whale Island Resort was to bring people back to nature, back to the most pristine and primitive things!

Voted by CNN as one of the 9 most beautiful destinations in Southeast Asia in 2017, Whale Island Resort was built on Hon Ong in 1997 with a total area of 80 hectares, completely natural and uninhabited. In front is a nature reserve, behind is the forest and sea.
