1. Brief introduction about Binh Lap

Is a small village of Cam Lap commune (Cam Ranh), Khanh Hoa province in the South Central region. Binh Lap is a peninsula, located in the "Four Binhs" of Vietnam including Binh Ba, Binh Lap, Binh Hung, and Binh Tien. Binh Lap is located about 80km from the center of Nha Trang city. This place is also known as "Vietnam's little Maldives", because it also possesses nature, with simple, rustic beauty, fine white sand beaches, and sea water so clean that standing on the shore you can clearly see the clear blue color of jade. Not many tourists visit, but that helps Binh Lap retain its wild, "enchanting" beauty, and strangely romantic in the middle of bustling Nha Trang.

2. When should you travel to Binh Lap?

Binh Lap is located in the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa area, so it has a sub-equatorial climate, mild all year round, with two rainy and dry seasons. Therefore, "travel" enthusiasts can come here at any time of the year. However, the most suitable time will be June, July and August because this is when the weather is entering autumn, the sky is clear, the water is rippling, very suitable for those who are passionate about photography. Note that you should avoid coming here in October and November because that is the rainy and stormy season, often accompanied by thunderstorms, not suitable for traveling and visiting places.

3. Instructions on how to get to Binh Lap

Binh Lap is an island located quite far from the mainland, about 50km from Cam Ranh airport, but you can easily get there.

First, to get here, you must go to Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa. Then, you continue to move to Ba Ngoi port or Cam Lap commune. There are 3 ways to get to Binh Lap island:

- If you depart from Cam Ranh, you should travel along National Highway 1A, turn onto DT702, and continue towards Vinh Hy Bay. It will take you 1 hour to travel 40km on this road. You must always be careful because this road is often traveled by many large vehicles, but rest assured that there will be a section of driving along the coast to enjoy the wonderful sea view.

- Second is departing from Phan Rang: With the starting point being Phan Rang city, you also go through National Highway 1A about 40km, then turn right towards Ngoc Suong resort to get there. Although the road is a bit dangerous, in return this road goes through Nui Chua, Kien Kien with many beautiful poetic scenes, as if lost in paradise.

- Third is to follow the coastal route: Starting from Phan Rang, you will pass through Nai lagoon and Vua lagoon, through Nui Chua national park on DT702 road. This is considered the most beautiful coastal route in Vietnam, with a length of 65km. However, you should check and fill up your gas tank before starting!

From Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Cam Ranh City, you can use the popular means of transport below.

- Airplane: Currently, there are 3 airlines operating this route including Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific. Travelers should book early to save costs.

- Train: From Hanoi station or Saigon station, you can buy a train ticket to My Thanh market or Cam Ranh Yen Sao gas station.

- Passenger car: You can travel by passenger car, when arriving at My Thanh market, tourists get off the car, rent a motorbike to move to Binh Lap for 100,000 - 120,000 VND/person. If you take a taxi, it is quite easy, you just need to call the car and clearly read the pass "Binh Lap", then enjoy the scenery.

- Motorbike: The distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Cam Ranh is 382 km, so it is very easy for Saigon people to travel by motorbike.

If you are a true “backpacker”, this is a distance worth challenging yourself in life. However, you still have to obey traffic laws, drive at the safe speed limit and prepare enough health for the long journey.

4. Decoding the reasons why many tourists like Binh Lap

4.1. Binh Chau Beach

This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Binh Lap, located in the center. There are not many places to stay here, but there is an extremely "luxurious" resort. If you are a fan of "virtual life", you will definitely know Ngoc Suong Resort.

4.2. Ngang Beach

If you want to replenish your body with “vitamin sea”, Bai Ngang is the place for those who love swimming in the sea when traveling to Binh Lap. Visitors will be immersed in the cool, clear water like a mirror, feeling the gentle waves like getting a massage no less than at a salon.

4.3. Lao Beach

Not inferior to its "brother" Bai Ngang, Bai Lao stretches for 10 kilometers, also has a romantic and peaceful beauty. This beach attracts many tourists to come to swim because nature has blessed it with a sparkling blue coastline, embracing the white sand and year-round gentle waves, not fierce.

4.4. Reef

Beautiful Bai Ran is the perfect summer swimming spot when traveling to Binh Lap. This place is also known for its beautiful coral reefs, and this is what has captivated anyone who comes here. You can combine bathing in cool water, walking in the golden sunshine, and watching the starfish spread out on the sand.

4.5. Bai Con

In Binh Lap, each beach has its own beauty. Although Bai Con does not have as rich coral as Bai Ran, you should not miss this "extremely hot" spot! Adjacent to the vast blue sea, gently lapping waves, Bai Con is very suitable for "virtual living" groups when traveling to Binh Lap.

4.6. Sao Bien Tourist Area

Located in Bai Lao Binh Lap, Cam Lap, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa, Sao Bien tourist area is a "hot" place because it is designed entirely based on nature, making visitors feel like they are immersed in nature, enjoying a fresh, cool space. Surely the girls seeing this scene will find it hard to resist posing for a photo right away.

It is a great pride that Vietnam has such a beautiful place, isn't it? As a Vietnamese, you should visit Binh Lap Island once to love our homeland's sea and islands even more and be aware of preserving the priceless gift that nature has bestowed.
