Cu Lao Thac is about 300 m high, located deep in the forest, and is a place for visitors to explore nature and challenge themselves.

Located in Vinh Hao commune, Vinh Thanh district, about 90 km from Quy Nhon city, there is a majestic waterfall. This is a natural waterfall, without a name. Local people often call it Cu Lao Thac. Young people who love nature and like to explore wild places, while fishing at Dinh Binh lake (Vinh Hao commune), were introduced to this waterfall by the locals. Trekkers are guided to follow route DT637, the road along Dinh Binh lake. The waterfall is about 12 km from Dinh Binh hydroelectric plant.

Near the road leading to the foot of the waterfall, on the left side is a trail leading to a small village. The villagers guided him to follow the trail into the forest, following the stream to the foot of the waterfall. The distance from the village to the waterfall is about 4 km, moving along the trail takes more than two hours, including rest time. The surrounding landscape is wild with forests, hills, mountains and corn fields of the people.

In your backpack, you should also bring a tent, gloves, knife and medical equipment for timely first aid in case of unexpected accidents. However, if the luggage you bring should not be too heavy, it can easily make your body lose strength when moving.

The most common dangers when walking in the forest are being bitten by animals, insects or tripping and colliding with trees and rocks. Especially in the rainy season, from about September to December, the roads are slippery, the water is high, and there are many potential dangers.

The best time to trek and camp at the waterfall is in the summer. from about May to July, dry weather. Visitors should go with experienced locals to handle any problems promptly. If you get lost in this forest, just follow the stream to return to the village.

Currently, Cu Lao Thac has no tourist tour operators.

In addition to exploring the waterfall, visitors can also spend time visiting and exploring the small village with its green and peaceful scenery.
